DH Reader Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using DH Reader ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dumpster Hill, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of Alabama, USA.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. What DH Reader Does

DH Reader is a tool that lets you save, organize, and read articles from the web in a clean, distraction-free, and accessible format. You can share a link into the App from your browser or any other app, and DH Reader extracts the article's text for reading, including optional text-to-speech playback. The App runs entirely on your device. We provide no hosting, no cloud storage, and no social features.

4. Article Content

DH Reader does not host, store on any server, or claim any ownership over the articles you access or save. Article content belongs to its original publisher; DH Reader simply extracts and displays it locally on your device for your own reading, in the same way a web browser does. Folders, saved articles, and preferences you create within the App remain under your control and are stored only on your device.

5. Third-Party Website Content and Copyright

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and view any content you open in DH Reader. DH Reader does not screen, filter, or have any knowledge of the specific websites or articles you choose to view or save.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or availability of any third-party content accessed through the App, or for any consequences that result from your use of such content.

6. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DH Reader to:

• Access or attempt to access content in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Circumvent any website's access controls, paywalls, or terms of service
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to update or discontinue the App at any time.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the App itself, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of Dumpster Hill, LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Republish or redistribute App content without permission

8. No Warranty

DH Reader is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will correctly extract or display content from every website. Use it at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF DH READER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of saved articles or data
• Claims arising from third-party content you access through the App
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Any technical malfunctions or interruptions

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dumpster Hill, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. All data stored locally remains under your control.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Each party agrees to waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action or representative proceeding.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dumpster Hill, LLC regarding the use of the App.
